Body Enhancement - Chinese Wand Fitness Class
This is an hour plus fitness program designed to stretch, strengthen, mobilize, and empower your mind, body and soul.  The class is designed for anyone –beginners, seniors, juniors, gentle souls….do it at your own level. 

Classes are open ended. Join us for the entre class or a preferred section

Tuesday/Thursday Class (9:30-10:50am)
9:30-9:40          Social fitness (talk, greet time)
9:40-10:10         Warm up, low impact cardio
10:10-10:40       Chinese Wand
10:40-10:50       Stretch and strength, relax

Sunday Class (9:30-10:45am)
9:30-10:00         Warm up, apparatus cardio (rebounders, step, balls, gliders, hula hoops)
10:00-10:30       Chinese Wand
10:30-10:45       Stretch, strength, relax

No Sunday classes on holiday weekends. No Sunday classes end of Dec until end of March.  

Body Enhancement classes do not run in the summer.

Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a gentle flowing exercise for body, mind and spirit. It improves co-ordination, focus and circulation, builds confidence, reduces stress and body stiffness.  Everyone is welcome—especially you! Wear comfortable clothing. The instructor is Marsha Khoury, PhD, Doctor of Fine Arts and Occupational Therapy.  Marsha started and developed her Tai Chi training in China and Canada.  Her background is in health, fitness, yoga, dance and meditation.  Marsha welcomes you to participate for an hour of fun in a stress free environment.

St. Alban's Quilters
Come out and help make a community quilt. No experience necessary. Some materials and supplies available. Free with membership. Program does not run on 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Weight Room   
The weight room is available for members 16 years of age and over to use cardio machines and weights whenever the club is open.

Guitar
Participants will work mainly on simple strumming patterns and simple rhythms where students will learn the fundamental skill of going from one chord to another. Participants will also learn songs that require simple chord progressions and strumming patterns. Participants must have a guitar.

Dance
Hip Hop Dance - Participants will learn different styles and forms of hip hop that will help educate them in understanding its art. Reading music, understanding levels, character, lines and techniques will be explored in this program. Using the latest moves and songs, the students will have an enjoyable class while building their self confidence and expression.
Caribbean Dance - A fun way to keep fit and explore dances and dance styles of the Caribbean. Looking for a class that energizes the soul and gets the body moving to the fun sounds of calypso, soca and reggae music? This is the class for you!
