Elective Programs for Children
Elective programs for children run through the school year from 6-7:00pm.
All programs are FREE with membership and require registration.
For ages 6-12.

Silhouette Art
The focus of the classes is to emphasize each member's unique creativity and style while exposing them to silhouette art making, creating storyboards and producing their own digital short stories.
Rock Climbing
Learn the skills of rock climbing and building confidence to tackle the wall. Trained staff will work with the children to safely show them the proper techniques.
Drama
Students will learn dramatic techniques of speech, dramatic movement, improvisation and characterization. Students will have the opportunity to see theatre shows across the GTA as part of our drama programming.
Skateboarding
Skateboarding for all levels inside St. Alban’s gym. Ramps and rails are set up every Tuesday with instructions from skateboarding teacher.
Scratch and Spin
St. Alban's studio is equipped with turntables and Serato. Come learn the art of DJ-ing from one of the best club DJ's around.
Basketball
Skills, drills and organized friendly games.
Glee Club
Members will explore acting exercises, simple movement for musical theatre and an introduction to singing. Students learn songs and movement from current and classic musicals with opportunities to perform their work in front of an audience.
Floor Hockey
An organized, friendly game - for all levels.
Photography
The photography program is geared to suit a wide range of levels, from the beginner to the more intermediate photographer. Students learn all of the functions of the digital camera and have in class lessons, as well as plenty of hands on practice time to build their confidence and skills. Lessons focus on technique and composition, and include: night photography, shooting in various lighting scenarios, landscape tips, and portraiture tips, experimenting with different perspectives, using lines, repetition, and patterns to make a captivating image. Basic Photoshop skills will also be developed, such as converting to black & white, white balance, contrast and colour adjustment, sizing and resolution.
Dodgeball
Kids will participate in a well organized, safe and friendly game.
Creative U
Participants express themselves through art and design.
Crochet Corner
Learn crochet techniques through creative and fun themed projects.
