At the end of camp we will put together a small art show to exhibit the amazing photos.  An activity fee will be required on the first day of camp.

Drama Camp

Maybe you have an inner movie star waiting to be born, maybe you’ve always dreamed of acting in a play or perhaps improv is your favourite activity. If any of these are true, then drama camp is for you. Campers will also get “behind the scenes” experience—including prop making, directing, lighting and sound.  Campers will work towards putting on a short performance at the end of the session.

Aquatic Camp

Aquatics Camp is a unique, specialized program where participants will learn how to stay safe in and around water, learn swimming and stroke techniques and enjoy water sports such as competitive swimming and water polo. An active and wet program! In-water programming will be complemented with activities in arts, computer lab, outdoor sports, and much more! Participants will also attend a fun, water-based outing on the final Friday of camp. Participants will also receive first aid training – basic skills for what to do in the event of an emergency and how to care for an injured person. All first aid training is in accordance with Red Cross program standards. All aquatics programming is delivered by qualified Water Safety Instructors.

High Five
St. Alban’s is a proud partner in Parks & Recreation Ontario’s High Five program. This program provides agencies with tools for measuring the success of their recreation programs for children in the area of healthy childhood development.  The FIVE Principles of High Five are FRIENDS, MASTERY, A CARING ADULT, PARTICIPATION, & PLAY!  These principles should be part of every program and every child’s experience in camp and recreation.

Our Staff
We hire well-trained and experienced childcare workers into our Summer Camp. Many are returning staff who have worked in our After School & Aquatic programs.  Our staff bring an outstanding experience and knowledge base with them. They have demonstrated a strong commitment to children and children’s programming. We are sure your children will have a fun-filled, safe summer with an excellent group of leaders and counselors.
