As part of our Sparking Change program, join us on a journey to Africa through song, dance, percussion and engaging call and response. Learn the cultural and social context of a specific dance and rhythm from West Africa; the instrument played, its origins and how it is made.

Drawing in the Ravines – Explore the wonders of nature through drawing

As part of our InTO the Ravines program in partnership with the City of Toronto, join native plant expert Lorraine Johnson, and scientific illustrator and Métis culture keeper, Jenna McGuire to explore the wonders of nature and ravine ecology through drawing. Sketch with these experts while learning how a plant’s form relates to how it grows and thrives, and their role in the ecosystem.
