Due to our current situation, we don’t yet know when we will be able to provide in person programs for youth and what those programs will look like. Although we are optimistic and have many ideas for safe programs that will mitigate risk, we must wait for direction from the province and local health authorities to move forward.

We offer youth programming that includes employment readiness, creative arts, studio recording, special outings, physical recreation, sports teams (basketball, soccer) inspirational speakers and the opportunity to develop and gain new skills in leadership.
A cooking club for youth eager to learn how to meal plan, prepare, cook and be responsible in the kitchen. Culinary Creations will introduce youth to:
- New and exciting recipes.
- Learn basic food preparation skills.
- Understand how to prepare a variety of foods using good sanitary practices.
- How to prevent injury in the kitchen.
Boys 2 Men
Boys 2 Men is a 12 week program geared towards engaging male youth in discussions, workshops and activities that reinforce character, leadership and positive behavior. The youth will also have the opportunity to participate in team oriented physical activities, employment readiness and various group outings.
SWV- Sistas With Voices
SWV will empower teens by providing an all-female environment where they can be safe and receive support as they learn skills that will help them find their voice, develop character and build self-confidence. SWV will consist of a variety of hands on workshops, physical activities, crafts, group discussions, guest speakers and outings.
Feel The Beat
Jane and Finch Boys and Girls Club has drop in dance classes for dancers of all levels. Choreography will consist of music video remakes, breakdancing techniques and routines to popular hip hop, reggae, soca, afro beats and pop music. Our choreographer helped our youth dance group A.O.S. (Artistically Out Spoken) win the third place award in the intermediate category at Stomp T.O 2016.
When the Beat Drops (Music Sound Studio)
Our fully equipped music studio will provide youth with everything they need discover the world of music. With the help of our studio technician’s youth will be able to learn engineering, compose and record music. This program will give our youth a positive outlet through music and allow them to express themselves artistically and creatively.
Raise the Grade
Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada delivers a multi-faceted education program called Raise the Grade supported by RBC, aimed at increasing academic skills, high school graduation rates and access to post-secondary education for youth from a select group of Boys and Girls Clubs across the country.
Jane and Finch Boys and Girls Club is pleased and proud to be part of Raise the Grade supported by RBC. The program gives youth the tools and opportunities to excel in school and go on to become successful and independent. Young people can explore their personal interests and connect with mentors, tutors and friends.
A space for youth who wish to become fit, stronger, flexible, increase their stamina, build power, speed and confidence. Open to all skill levels and abilities, ages 12-17, through various exercise routines, skill development and educational sessions, youth will build the endurance and gain the knowledge to excel at their sport of choice. Have fun while breaking a sweat, meet new people while you get strong, come out and learn a new skill.
A modern youth friendly space where new teens can network, do homework, talk about events, do arts and crafts, have computers and internet access and participate in recreational activities. Community outings and trips are usually free or at a discounted rate. All activities are supervised and or facilitated by trained and experienced youth program staff
