KinderCamp 2017

KinderCamp offers children an exciting variety of activities and events. Children ages 4 and 5 will experience a safe, fun, well supervised learning environment filled with exciting age-appropriate programming.

Our recreational day camp allows children to participate in a well-balanced, all day program that includes arts & crafts, board games, swimming, cooperative games, outdoor play, sports, computers, cooking and field trips.

Summer funChildren Require

Bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, running shoes, sun hat, lots to drink (or water bottle), snacks, lunch (garbage-less if possible), a change of clothes (if you think it might be required)


There will be a maximum of 24 children in the program.  Leadership will include one Registered Early Childhood Educator, and two trained counselors.  There will also occasionally be volunteers for additional support.Field Trip

5-5:30pm — no charge
5:30-6:30pm — $8/day or $35/week)

(Kids from 4-12 years old are combined in one group for extended hours program)


Limited subsidized spaces are available for families requiring assistance on a first come, first served basis. Proof of total family income required.

 Age Minimum

Children must be 4 years old on the first day of camp to register. Proof of age may be required and requested.


2016/17 St. Alban’s membership required.

Field trips, outings and special activities

Outings will take place once a week. The group will either walk or take TTC.

KinderCampers will also visit splash pads and various parks throughout the week including: J. Sibelius parkWychwood Barns splash pad, Hillcrest park splash pad, Christie Pits park and wading pool.

We’ll be swimming in the St. Alban’s pool on Fridays.

Recreation Program

St. Alban’s Boys and Girls Club is recognized as a children’s recreation service provider and is an authorized recreational and skill building program that offers safe, fun and engaging recreation programs to children (JK to Grade 6).

This child care program is not licensed by the Government of Ontario under the Ministry of Education.

Summer Learning

Our Staff

There will be one Registered Early Childhood Educator and two counselors on staff. We hire well-trained and experienced children’s program staff into our summer camp. Many are returning staff who have worked in our after school and aquatic programs.  Our staff bring an outstanding experience and knowledge base with them. They have demonstrated a strong commitment to children and children’s programming. We are sure your children will have a fun-filled, safe summer with an excellent group of leaders and counselors.
