In collaboration with Power Plant, youth will paint their own pair of shoes with accomplished painter and artist, Carlos Delgado! Carlos will teach youth all about the basics of design, painting, and installation art.
Together youth will create shoes and paint murals to represent their community and design an installation for a final exhibition at the Harbourfront Centre.
The Humber youth program collaborated with Arts for Children and Youth to create these murals, currently on display at Lawrence West and Eglinton West stations. The murals represents the excitement for the NBA ALL STAR GAME coming to CANADA. Basketball is one of our many Canadian sports, that brings unity to all communities.
In partnership with Arts for Children and Youth, our Woolner Youth Program got the opportunity to make their own skateboard decks.
