Due to the current pandemic situation, our summer camps and summer programs for youth will be running very differently than usual.
We will post more information about summer programs for youth as it becomes available.
The information below is for Youth Adventure Camp as it has run in the past, and is no longer applicable for summer 2020. It is provided for your information and interest.
13-16 (Participants must be 13 years of age or older on the first day of the session in order to attend)
Youth will develop leadership and team building skills through daily programming which will include workshops, sports, games, indoor and outdoor activities. Goals of the program include encouraging community involvement, and healthy, active lifestyles, as well as preparing participants for high school, employment opportunities and social issues facing youth today.
Sessions two and four of St Alban’s youth adventure camp includes a week of camping at our campground, Camp Howland in Minden Hills. There, campers will learn survival and orienteering skills, participate in land and water based activities, and build a respect and love for the outdoors.
By the end of each session, youth will have a firm grasp of what it means to have self-esteem, self-respect and respect for others. They will have developed community ties, will be equipped to handle more responsibilities, and will have a new appreciation for the outdoors.
Suitable attire for physical activity is expected from all participants.

Cancellation must occur at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp. The refund is subject to a 15% administration fee.
If your child has special needs or requires additional support of any kind, please fill in the Camper Consideration Form – you can either email it to us as an attachment or you can drop it off at the club. (NOTE: you can submit this form after registration)
There are a limited number of subsidy spots available for those who qualify, on a first come, first served basis. To apply, please submit the subsidy application form, supporting documentation and a Summer Camp Requests form indicating your requested weeks. Although camp registration does not begin until February 3rd, subsidy applications should be submitted as soon as possible.
