Vaccination policy

Staff:

It is currently the Club’s policy that all staff must:

• Provide proof of full vaccination (two shots)

Or

• Provide a doctor’s note indicating a medical reason as to why they are not vaccinated.

And/Or

• Complete a COVID-19 vaccination educational session.

All newly hired employees (as of July 2021) must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Visitors/parents/members:

• Proof of vaccination is not required.

Masks

Staff and members:

Optional unless required by federal/provincial/municipal health regulations.

Staff and participants who choose to wear masks are supported in doing so.

Parents/Guardians/Visitors:

·        Masks are required.

Ill Health Reporting

Preschool: Via Brightwheel messaging to the affected classroom only – Signs of ill health, contagious illnesses and confirmed Covid-19 cases will be reported.

All other programs/locations: Parents/guardians of an affected group will be informed by email if there are serious or contagious illnesses that have been reported to us.

Parents/Guardians in the building:

Preschool: Drop off and pick up in the building

School age programs: Drop off and pick up in the building (Club locations). Pick up procedures for school locations may vary – Program managers will inform parents/guardians.

General public – not permitted in Clubs/program spaces at this time. 

Daily Health Screening

Preschool participants: Daily electronic verification of having completed the health assessment using the Brightwheel app.

All staff/parents/guardians/members/visitors: Everyone should do a daily assessment using the current TPH Screening tool before coming to the Club and follow the isolation guidelines and other requirements, such as masking, as necessary. As of September 6, you do not need to provide verification of this assessment with the online form or paper version.

General

We continue to encourage hand washing throughout the day and use enhanced cleaning supplies and procedures.

HEPA filters have been installed in most program spaces.
