Keeping our Club and community safe.
The Ministry of Education (who licenses and inspects child care centres) has mandated that all daycare staff must:
- Provide proof of full vaccination
Or
- Provide a doctor’s note indicating a medical reason as to why they are not vaccinated.
And/Or
- Complete a COVID-19 vaccination educational session.
And
- Complete regular COVID antigen testing following Public Health directions. At this time the Ministry’s required testing frequency for unvaccinated employees is twice per week.
The Club’s and the Ministry of Education’s confidentiality policies prevent us from releasing an individual staff member’s vaccination status.
BGC St. Alban’s Club has set a policy that all newly hired employees (as of July 2021) must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
We are also offering regular rapid testing to fully vaccinated staff.
