On our seventh annual awareness day, BGC Clubs will share the unbelievable impact Clubs have on youth and their families in communities across the country. Get ready to celebrate BGC Club Day on Friday, June 7, 2024 Welcome to BGC Club Day! BGC Canada’s annual national awareness day will occur on Friday, June 7, 2024. We will showcase the incredible work of Clubs across the country as they continue to have an unbelievable impact on young people. For 120+ years, BGC Clubs have been creating opportunities for millions of Canadian kids and teens. Our trained staff and volunteers provide programs and services that help young people realize positive outcomes. Opportunity changes everything. BGC Clubs across the country will host different kinds of activations throughout BGC Club Day. At St. Alban's, kids from all of our satellite communities will meet at our Main Clubhouse and participate in a day of FUN and CELEBRATION! The day will include: Water balloons and Drip Drip Drench! Games like bean bag toss and potato sack races Face painting Tug of War Yummy snacks Talent Show Music and dancing! The kids will have so much fun meeting their friends from our family of Clubs! We look forward to sharing pictures of the day on our social media feeds! Look for the CN Tower and Niagara Falls to be lit up in BGC Green that night!

A FREE online group and workshop series, for individuals who are feeling isolated during the COVID-19 pandemic, struggling to find supports, and interested in developing new ways of coping. CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE SERIES • Self-identify as financially vulnerable • In need of mental health and/or wellbeing supports • Live in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) • Age 18+ REGISTRATION To ensure access to supports for as many folks as possible, please only sign up for ONE group or workshop. The City recognizes that essential frontline workers may be experiencing increased levels of stress and anxiety as they continue to provide critical services and supports to Torontonians during the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, the City has partnered with select organizations to provide additional supports. Ontario Psychological Association If you are a frontline worker or are aware of a frontline worker struggling to cope during these very challenging times, the Ontario Psychological Association is making it easier than ever for Ontarians to connect with a psychologist. The COVID-19 Disaster Response Network has mobilized 325 psychologists who are offering psychological services at no cost to those with no or limited mental health coverage. Psychologists in Ontario will provide care at no cost to frontline workers without or with limited coverage and their families during COVID-19. To access this support Call 211, state you are a frontline service provider in need of mental health supports and you will be connected to a Psychologist Canadian Psychological Association The Canadian Psychological Association provides a contact list of licensed therapists who have volunteered to provide pro bono support during COVID-19. If you are a frontline health service provider, and would like to contact a psychologist, please refer to the contact list For the Frontlines Fast, free, text-based crisis counselling available 24/7 for health care professionals and essential workers. If you need support to deal with the feelings of anxiety, stress, fear, isolation, or other difficult emotions you are experiencing during COVID-19, access support by texting FRONTLINES to 741741. CAMH CAMH provides a resource page for healthcare workers who have been impacted by COVID-19, as well as a self referral form for support. It also runs virtual sessions, ECHO Coping with COVID , which are designed for Healthcare Providers and Health Professions Students responding to the COVID-19 pandemic Are you worried?
